She was born in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November, 1986. She is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba along with her father Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from New Jersey's Point Pleasant to Jersey at the age of 6. The girl completed her high-school studies throughout New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating in Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued her studies in the institution. When she was 4 She began playing the violin. She earned the nickname Violin girl. Her performances led to the use of her nickname. She taught violin to children in the neighbourhood. At the age of nineteen, she appeared on the Sixth Season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. In the end, she didn't make it beyond the 16th spot the American Idol.
