Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional career at the age of 13 and was a part of Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. In the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. She portrayed the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of 15, and earned a Drama League Award nomination. Molly performed in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. After graduating of Princeton University, where she was awarded an B.A. with a major in religion. She also was a Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. At this point, that she made her movie debut in Disney's College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. While she was in college, Molly made her acting debut as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly started her acting career following graduation with Off-Broadway productions which included End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was a part of regional productions such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington the Stage Company and the North Shore Music Theatre's 2008 production and the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank, in which she played Anne. Molly has starred in several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. She performed the role of the teenage daughter Ali.
